1.Orders          

You don’t need to have an account to be able to place an order. Provided information is understood to be complete and correct at time of registration. We only import products according to your orders to guaranty freshness. This necessitates a certain logistics.

After placing an order; you will receive a confirmation email with your order details. This email is an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of the order by our company.

2.Product availability

We strive to provide you the best in terms of quality and freshness. As we work primarily with wild and fresh products, the availability may be affected by seasonality and weather conditions. Should we be unable to provide you with a requested item we can either suggest a similar replacement or reimburse you the missing item.

3.Prices and Payment

The prices of our products can be subject to changes without prior notice. Although we endeavor to ensure that all pricing information on this website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be miss-prices. If an error relates to the products for which you have placed an order, we will notify you at the email address or the telephone number which have been provided during registration and ask whether you would like to confirm the order at the correct price or to cancel it.

Every payment has to be made by “Bank Transfer”, cash deposit, credit card or Paypal once the order has been completed in order for us to process it. Any order which has not been paid will not be delivered until payment has been received. Every order placed and not cancelled in the normal schedule is due.

If a product wouldn’t be available after your validate your order , we ould refund the corresponding amount  product or suggest an adequate replacement.

Delivery vehicles must be able to access and park legally within 50 meters of the delivery address.

Delivery will be suspended when Typhoon Signal No.8 or Black Rain Warning Signal is hosted

4.Order and Delivery Schedule

Please note that all goods will be delivered as scheduled and to the best of our ability. We aim to deliver the goods when there is somebody at home. We cannot accept responsibility of any product damage for goods left outside at the customer’s request.

We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee for re-delivery if the recipient is not available at the first delivery attempt.

Delivery time depends on the items you have added in your shopping cart and your delivery address.

We offer  2 delivery days per week. The preferred delivery time has to be indicated during the checkout in the order notes.

For the Friday delivery or pick up (afternoon only) , you have to place your order the previous  Tuesday until 6pm maximum.

For the Saturday delivery  (no pick up ), morning or afternoon To Be Confirmed), you have to place your order the previous Tuesday before 6pm maximum.

We can deliver Discovery bay On Saturday  ! Minimum order 1200 HKD, orders need to be placed previous Tuesday before 6pm

3.3 Delivery fees are applied depending on the delivery address and amount of purchase according to the following table:

$100 fee for orders below $1000

NEW TERRITORIES

FREE delivery for order above $2000

$100 fee for orders between $1000 and $2000

$200 fee for orders below $1000

DISCOVERY BAY

Right of cancellation/Return . Claims

If you wish to cancel your order, even if you haven’t paid, you need to send us an email at order@food-origin.com on time to proceed. Any order made through the website is due excepted if we receive the cancellation on time (see our order schedule).

Due to the nature of the products that we sell, we can’t always cancel an order. Therefore, should you need to apply changes in your order or cancel it, please respect the dedicated schedules mentioned above to proceed.

In case some items requested are unavailable, we will notify you at the earliest and help to provide you with other options.

Although we maintain strict controls over our products, mishaps inevitably happen. To maintain a constant quality standard, we request that you to check your products upondelivery and get back to us within 12h. Your signature, or the signature on your behalf, on the invoice copy shall be conclusive evidence that the goods have been accepted.

If you note any issue with the product, please notify us by email at order@food-origin.com and provide details and attached photos as  proof. We reserve the right to refuse returns if in our professional opinion, we do not consider the good to be faulty. In the other case, we will refund the missing item or provide a replacement at this time or later .

 Delivery & Pick Up

We provide a customized delivery service using temperature controlled trucks, mini vans or scooter with temparature controlled packaging. Deliveries are made every Friday and Saturday for now. You chose to be delivered at home or to another place like your office. You just have to let us know the exact address on time.

We offer a free delivery service for any order above 1000 HKD in Hong Kong and Kowloon Orders below 1000 HKD will  geta delivery charge of 100 HKD

For New territories, we offer a free delivery service for any order above 2000 HKD in Hong Kong and Kowloon Orders below 1000 HKD will get an extra delivery charge of 200 HKD and orders between HKD 1000 and 2000 will be charged HKD 100.

For Discovery Bay, we only deliver and for free orders above HKD 1200.

N.B   You can also come and pick up you order at our warehouse in Wong Chuk hang.

Products & Service

Our products range from wild seafood, organic fruits and vegetables to premium tea, oil and vinegar.  We specify on our website how each product looks like.  Our suppliers have been chosen for their quality standards and certifications in order to offer your a constant quality for every order. Our producs are the same than the one we offer to the best chefs in Hong Kong.

Our products are shipped with respect to norms and health requirements.

Our products, especially seafood, can be frozen excepted when clearly mentionned on the produc page.

We provide premium products. However, the products you will receive can differ from the pictures on our website which are displayed for information.

Packaging and Recycling

Our products are packed according to their nature. Seafood is mostaly packed into vacuum-packs, veggies and fruits in carton box material, etc. We provide ice pack when necessary that you can reuse later. You can wash and bring back your plastic packaging to our office. We will take care of recycling them thanks to a Local Hong Kong paid services.

Warehouse Opening Hours

After confirmation with our customer service, you can pick up your order to our warehouse during the following schedules:Friday from 2pmto  6:00 pm only.
