Founded by a French young woman entrepreneur, the adventure started from people sharing a passion for food and gastronomy, and the desire to provide a sustainable offer on which people would be able to rely.

Our aim is to provide a qualitative, healthy and sustainable offer for all our different type of products. We strive to propose as much as flexibility as possible for your orders, to be able to fulfill any custom request.
We are as well very happy to bring to Hong Kong new brands from producters and artisan we trust, paid at fair price for a sustainable suppy.

A RESPONSIBLE COMPANY
Food Origin is very concerned about health and environment.
Hong Kong has a dependance of about 95% based on imported products due to the small scale of agricultural and food production segment. It doesn’t mean we have to bring food in a wrong manner.
That’s why we only work on order basis to avoid food waste. We try to use as much as possible recyclable packaging or avoid them when we can. We are constantly working with our suppliers and we strive to provide sustainable more solution in terms of packaging in the coming months.

Caroline and her relatives, Benjamin and Maxime have launched O Poisson, a family affair based on their family experience with seafood. They select the best of the sea for you.

Lionel
As a passionate gastronome, Lionel offers so many reasons to fall for the best dairy references sourced all around French regions and elsewhere. He is the founder of Le Charriot à fromage and offers an amazing selection of cheese thanks to his training by a Meilleur Ouvrier de France.

Luisa & Ricardo
Located in Menton, France, Luisa and her son have launched Pasta Piemonte and are creating some of the best fresh handmade pasta with premium ingredients.

Azais Polito
Azaïs-Polito, artisanal maker of fine preserved fish dishes, is known and recognized for the quality of its products.
This family business is now the last cannery in the city of Sète, the first fishing port in the Mediterranean, where it was founded in 1963.

Huilerie Beaujolaise
An artisanal oilpresser in the heart of Beaujolais since 1982 offering a range of virgin oils, macerated and pressed oils as well as fruit vinegars. Over the years, the Huilerie Beaujolaise has managed to win the confidence of the greatest French and foreign chefs; turning them into ambassadors of its exceptional products.

Nunshen
The Nunshen Tea is prepared following the purest traditions of the tea blenders in order to preserve the fullest aromas and flavors of the tea leaves. Their mousselines are handcrafted using biodegradable natural cotton without any added artificial additives, this allows the tea to express all of its flavours.

Christian et Elisabeth
This passionate couple located in remote area of South France, Gard. They grown Olive three and make their own organic oil, fruits jam, with a total love and respect for their natural environment.

Elodie - So'Boutargue
Already favored by Michelin 3* chefs in France, carefully hand-made in south of France by Elodie, So'Boutargue offers a range of premium bottarga (mullet roe). You can chose among the classic one and the 3 amazing exclusive flavors: whisky, boukha (fig liquor) and anis.

Qwehli
Abies Lagrimus has revived the traditional production of Pyrenean Fir sirup and is offering an exclusive range of products made from this wonderful tree.

Anne Dubary - Variette
Anne has created Variette near Toulouse in France. “Variette” is the result of a thought process to offer sustainable and tasty preserves. Anne has sourced the best tomatoes following a very strict guidelines of her own.

Claude - Abies Lagrimus
Abies Lagrimus has revived the traditional production of Pyrenean Fir sirup and is offering an exclusive range of products made from this wonderful tree.

Le Comptoir des Poivres
Hunter of tastes, sourcer of flavors, Olivier Derenne is eager to share new sensations, scents, textures and flavors from wonders around the globe. Le Comptoir des Poivres follows a strict work ethics : no chemical additives are ever used in the selected farms, people working in the plantations work in optimal conditions, many selection processes to keep only the most exceptional grains or berries, direct shipment from the plantations to France.
